The place was fairly clean, I booked the king room with sea views, everything was amazing. The location of this relaxing and wonderful hotel was stunning, on that pier. A cool bonus was Paprika Cafe, located nearby, it offered tea and coffee👍
The staff was kind of rude.

Attractive room, I loved the hotel!
Everything was great, including welcoming staff and stunning location right on the ocean. Location: the hotel was close to a pier, Monterey and Cannery Row. Stopped by Tidal Coffee to get some coffee and treats, it's near the venue, recommend.

The location is excellent; close enough to everything to allow either walking or trolley transportation, which was also very convenient. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful with any of our questions. I would recommend the Monterey Bay Inn to anyone.

wouldn't hesitate to stay there again
Great waterfront location! The room was super comfy and spacious with a nice view. Loved the breakfast delivery, but could use more options. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Free earplugs were funny! Awesome to have a bottle of wine and chocolates for my birthday. Hot tub and sauna looked nice too.

Very relaxing and close to various points of interest. We didn,t move our car for the two days there because everything was near-by. Nice and quiet with a very professional staff. Will go back soon. Gordon

Unexpected challenges, but great views
Waking up to the ocean's splendor was good, and the friendly staff made check-in easy. The view from our balcony was the absolute highlight!
The shower had a persistent issue with low water pressure and the breakfast selection could use more variety beyond just sweet options.

We heard the barking of the sea lions the first night - all night. The second night we were prepared for it. Charming!!
The buildings surrounding the hotel were creepy to walk by - especially at night.

There were so many pleasant surprises: 1. The layout of the room was functional yet had a human approach. 2. The bath amenities were Aveda! 3. The surprise Perrier sparkling water and chocolates that came with a signed greeting card from the staff. 4. Great view.

We had a wonderful stay with beautiful harbor views from our balcony, enjoyed the delicious breakfast delivered to our room, and the complimentary chocolates made it feel special. I would definitely choose this place again!
